Plan Changes and Billing with Stripe
Q1: When do I get access to the features of my new plan?
A: Immediately. Your account features update as soon as you confirm the upgrade or downgrade.
Q2: How am I billed when I change plans?
A: You are charged the new plan’s full rate immediately, and this resets your billing date. Any unused time on your old plan is forfeited and not refunded.
Q3: Can you give me a clear example?
A: Certainly. If you’re on a RM17/month plan billed on the 1st, and you upgrade to RM47/month on the 15th:
You instantly lose RM17 plan features and gain RM47 plan features.
You are charged RM47 right away (on the 15th).
Your new billing date becomes the 15th of each month for RM47.
The unused portion of your previous RM17 payment (from the 15th to month-end) is not refunded.
Q4: What happens if I downgrade?
A: The same principle applies in reverse. You immediately get the lower-tier features, are charged the lower rate at once, and forfeit the unused paid time on your previous, more expensive plan.
Q5: Why is there no refund for the unused time?
A: This policy ensures instant access to new features when you upgrade and keeps billing simple and predictable for all users. We are transparent about this so you can choose the best time to switch.
Q6: When is the best time to change my plan?
A: To maximize value, we recommend making changes on or just after your billing date. Changing mid-cycle means you pay for a new full period before the previous one has ended.
Q7: Where can I see my next billing date and plan details?
A: You can check this by going to MANAGE BILLING > Stripe in your dashboard sidebar.
